On August 24, 2025, ISRO conducted the first Integrated Air Drop Test (IADT-01) for its Gaganyaan Mission. The test validated the parachute system essential for astronaut safety during re-entry and landing. Conducted with support from the Indian Air Force, DRDO, Indian Navy, and Coast Guard, this marks a major step toward India’s first human spaceflight.
