The 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit was held at the Yrys Ordo Congress Hall in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, from August 31 to September 1, 2026.

• The summit marked the 25th anniversary of the SCO, which was founded in 2001.
• The summit brought together leaders of the 10 SCO member states, along with observer and dialogue partner representatives.

• Kyrgyzstan handed over the rotating SCO chairmanship to Pakistan.

• The summit declared Lahore, Pakistan, as the SCO Tourist and Cultural Capital.
• Leaders approved a cooperation programme for a Green Technology Corridor for 2026–2030.
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit.
