- The national Compliance Reduction and Dereulation programme is led by the Cabinet Secretariat to simplify regulations and reduce procedural burdens across sectors.

- Tripura introduced self-certification systems for Change of Land Use procedures and streamlined approval processes across urban and industrial administration.
- The state strengthened its Single Window Approval Agency while rationalising No Objection Certificates and automating approvals for low-risk business activities.
- Industrial units in selected categories were allowed to begin operations through self-declaration systems with inspection exemptions extending up to three years.
- Officials stated that the reforms are aimed at improving ease of doing business through digitised approvals and reduced compliance requirements.
- Since 2022, Tripura has signed 394 investment agreements worth nearly ₹35,140 crore while projects valued at ₹5,352 crore have already commenced operations.
