Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is on a two-day visit to Morocco.
He spoke to the Indian community in Casablanca on Sunday.
He explained why India did not immediately retaliate to a 50% US tariff.
He said India prefers a broad-minded, measured approach to international disputes.
Also, he will inaugurate Tata Advanced Systems’ defence plant in Morocco during the visit.
