NITI Aayog launched Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 as a focused three-month campaign aimed at achieving saturation of critical development indicators nationwide.

The campaign was inaugurated by NITI Aayog CEO B.V.R. Subrahmanyam and will continue until 14 April this year, ensuring concentrated implementation.

Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 builds on the achievements of the 2024 Sampoornata campaign, strengthening last-mile delivery and improving district-level governance performance.

The campaign targets 112 Aspirational Districts and 513 Aspirational Blocks identified under the Aspirational Areas Programme for focused developmental interventions.

Focus is on saturating five indicators in districts and six indicators in blocks to achieve measurable development outcomes and service effectiveness.

Priority sectors include health, nutrition, sanitation, education, maternal and child health, tuberculosis detection, and animal vaccination for holistic improvement.

The initiative promotes inter-ministerial coordination, state participation, and data-driven monitoring to ensure complete service coverage across identified districts and blocks.

Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 aims to reduce regional disparities and ensure inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development throughout India.
