Nepal has started exporting 40 megawatts (MW) of electricity to Bangladesh through India’s transmission infrastructure, following a trilateral agreement between Nepal, Bangladesh, and India. The historic deal, signed on October 3, aims to strengthen energy cooperation in the region by utilizing Nepal’s hydroelectric power for Bangladesh.
