- The alliance, launched as a global initiative, now includes more than 120 member countries working together to accelerate solar energy deployment worldwide.
- Government programmes such as PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana are helping households generate clean electricity through rooftop solar systems.
- Another flagship initiative, PM-KUSUM, supports farmers by promoting solar-powered irrigation systems and reducing dependence on conventional energy sources.
