India has inducted an advanced AI-driven satellite imaging system, Prajna, developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation, to enhance real-time surveillance and national security operations.

- The system was formally handed over by Samir V Kamat to Govind Mohan during an official event held in New Delhi.
- By integrating artificial intelligence with satellite imaging, India is transitioning from traditional monitoring methods to more efficient, technology-driven surveillance and counter-terrorism strategies.
- DRDO continues to focus on indigenous defense innovation, reducing reliance on foreign technologies while advancing capabilities in surveillance systems, missile development, and national security infrastructure.
- Alongside Prajna, DRDO has also advanced naval logistics with the ADC-150 system, designed to deliver essential supplies to naval ships in challenging and remote maritime conditions.
- The ADC-150 supports payload delivery up to 150 kilograms, enabling rapid transport of medical aid, equipment, and critical resources during emergencies at sea.
