On 24 June 2025, the Indian Government launched NAVYA in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. This new initiative aims to skill girls aged 16–18 in non-traditional sectors through vocational training. It’s a joint pilot by the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Skill Development, aligned with the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision.
