APEDA and Tripura government organised an international buyer-seller meet in Agartala to connect organic producers with overseas buyers and expand export opportunities.

- The event brought together around 200 participants, including more than 20 international buyers, 27 exporters and 96 farmers from 22 producer organisations.
- International buyers from Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Greece and Argentina participated to explore sourcing opportunities and potential long-term business partnerships.
- Twelve stalls showcased Tripura’s organic agricultural products, including Queen Pineapple, Kalikhasa Rice, ginger, turmeric, black sesame and scented lemon.
- The programme created direct interactions between farmers, producer organisations, exporters and international buyers to discuss product quality, sourcing needs and market opportunities.
- The initiative aims to strengthen Tripura’s organic identity in international markets while creating better market access and income opportunities for farmers.
- Organic farmers were felicitated during the programme for their contribution to sustainable agriculture and development of the state’s organic value chains.
- APEDA continues supporting organic exports through certification, capacity building, infrastructure development, market promotion and international buyer connections across India.
