New Delhi, Sep 9: NDA nominee CP Radhakrishnan defeated INDIA bloc candidate B. Sudershan Reddy in the Vice Presidential election. Radhakrishnan, a BJP veteran from Tamil Nadu with strong RSS roots, secured 452 votes against Reddy’s 300. The result showed signs of cross-voting and marked a political win for the BJP-led alliance.
