India’s mutual fund industry recorded strong July inflows of Rs 2.35 lakh crore, while total assets under management reached Rs 85.76 lakh crore.

- Mutual fund schemes attracted a net inflow of Rs 2.35 lakh crore in July, according to data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India.
- Debt-oriented schemes dominated monthly inflows with Rs 1.88 lakh crore, while equity-oriented schemes recorded positive inflows of Rs 24,697 crore.
- Total mutual fund assets under management stood at Rs 85,75,656.52 crore on July 31, compared with average monthly AUM of Rs 86,33,798.38 crore.
- Open-ended schemes accounted for most industry assets and inflows, attracting Rs 2,36,595 crore and taking their AUM to Rs 85,59,041 crore.
- Small-cap funds led equity inflows with Rs 7,767.50 crore, followed by mid-cap funds at Rs 6,192.31 crore and flexi-cap funds at Rs 4,709.08 crore.
- Hybrid schemes attracted Rs 11,490.56 crore during July, with arbitrage funds receiving Rs 6,502.44 crore and multi-asset allocation funds Rs 3,753.38 crore.
- Among debt schemes, liquid funds received the highest inflow of Rs 1,19,065.85 crore, followed by overnight and money market funds.
- Mutual fund folios reached 28.09 crore by July 31, highlighting continued participation and growing investor engagement across India’s mutual fund industry.
