On June 24, 2025, the Government of India launched NAVYA in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. The program targets girls aged 16–18, offering vocational training, life skills, and financial literacy. It covers 3,850 girls in 27 districts across 19 states, with special focus on tribal and underserved regions.
