The VB-G RAM G Bill, 2025 has become law after receiving Presidential assent in India.
Approved on December 21, 2025, the new legislation replaces MGNREGA.
It guarantees 125 days of wage employment per rural household.
The law aims to modernise rural employment under the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
