India has launched the world’s largest grain storage initiative through cooperatives to strengthen rural agricultural infrastructure. The plan uses Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) to build godowns and agri-facilities. It aims to reduce grain wastage, improve farmer incomes, and digitize operations.
