The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) plans to launch the first module of India’s space station, Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS), by 2028. The space station is expected to be fully operational by 2035, consisting of five modules. A crucial step towards this goal was achieved with the successful Space Docking Experiment (SPADEX) in January 2025.
