• External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar held bilateral meetings with foreign ministers from Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Mauritius, Kenya, Malta, Seychelles and Rwanda during Raisina Dialogue 2026 in New Delhi.
• During talks with Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath, both leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional developments while reaffirming commitment to Vision MAHASAGAR and the Neighbourhood First policy.
• In his meeting with Bhutan’s Foreign Minister Lyonpo D N Dhungyel, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the unique and long-standing partnership between India and Bhutan.
• Dr Jaishankar and Mauritian Foreign Minister Dhananjay Ritish Ramful emphasised enhancing the strategic partnership and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors between the two countries.
• During discussions with Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign Minister Musalia W Mudavadi, both leaders focused on unlocking the full potential of India–Kenya bilateral ties.
• In talks with Malta’s Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg, Dr Jaishankar appreciated his insights on maritime industry cooperation and explored opportunities for greater collaboration.
• The External Affairs Minister also met Seychelles’ Foreign Minister Barry Faure and discussed follow-up actions after the recent presidential visit between the two nations.
• Dr Jaishankar held talks with Rwanda’s Foreign Minister Olivier J P Nduhungirehe, focusing on strengthening economic engagement and advancing digital cooperation between India and Rwanda.
