- The draft white paper titled “AYUSH Interventions for Mind and Body Health” is being deliberated at the 3rd International AYUSH Conference and Exhibition 2026 held in Dubai.
- The document aims to provide a structured, multidisciplinary and evidence-informed framework outlining AYUSH contributions to mind–body health.
- It proposes research priorities, best practices and regulatory pathways to enhance scientific validation and global policy integration.
- The International Delegate Assembly (IDA) Committee has undertaken three major initiatives to advance global integration of AYUSH systems.
- The first initiative is the development of the white paper to guide evidence-based adoption of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy in addressing stress, mental health concerns and lifestyle disorders.
- The second initiative includes panel deliberations on sustainable global health systems, mental well-being interventions, happiness index perspectives, integrative best practices, and areas such as policy, education and capacity building.
- The third initiative is a global practitioners’ survey of AYUSH conducted with ethical approval to assess practice patterns, challenges and emerging opportunities across geographies.
- The survey findings are expected to inform policy development, curriculum design and capacity-building strategies grounded in frontline clinical experience.
- The conference is organised by Science India Forum UAE in collaboration with the World Ayurveda Foundation, under the patronage of India’s Ministry of AYUSH and the Consulate General of India in Dubai, and will continue until February 17.
